Back to Band KEVIN SEIDEL - Guitar/Vox

Here's a few things you may not know about Kevin. He has a soft spot for cool vintage gear he can't afford--something known as Gear Acquisition Syndrome (GAS). He also breaks a lot it. Could be because he started off as a drummer. It explains a lot (especially his guitar playing). He doesn't break strings like he used to, but he has been known to blow out a PA system or two. At an outdoor Monterey festival, he hit a high note that blew out a monitor and caused it to start smoking.

So you want some more? Well, he knows most of the words to every Led Zeppelin song ever written. Ditto ELO (even though that was extremely uncool until Grandaddy came along). He even knows the backwards part on that one. You know the one. When he dances, he looks even whiter than he is. He has lived in every corner of the USA.

Kevin plays a '52 Fender Telecaster, a Gibson Nighthawk, or his newly acquired Gibson SG (paid for by Southwest Airlines who broke the neck off another guitar in flight, but we won't get into that). He plays various pedals through a Vox AC 30, and sings through whatever bullhorn is lying around.
