Back to Band	WARD EVANS - Guitar If you googled "small, white-bread conservative town," Ward's hometown of Cheshire, Connecticut would be the first match. Fortunately, Ward was able to pick up transmissions from the distant planet of New York that whispered "go, go very far from there". So when no one was looking, Ward looked to the farthest point from Cheshire in the continental U.S. But it's cold in Aberdeen, WA, so he moved to California instead. Soon he was fronting the legendary surf band, The Swamis, where he would meet the band mates that would form, you guessed it, Recliner. Check out Ward's side project, Mentalward. Ward plays a beautiful Fender Stratocaster through a Mesa Boogie amplifier and sings through anything grounded.
